School Photos

Much to my embarrassment, my mother saved all of my school pho
tos. That in itself is not really embarrassing, it’s when she whips them out to show new friends and acquaintances how far her ‘little girl’ has come. Though this is very sweet, I sometimes wish it would just end. I can’t deprive her of her memories, and I certainly don’t want to spoil her fun, but I do wish I had paid more attention when I was young, and didn’t show up for school photos looking like the tomboy that I was back then. In fact, many of these photos are so funny that I have to get them out when I am in a bad mood. They lighten my spirits tremendously.

Most schools offer sessions for school photos for their students. These usually happen once a year, and in my school, this was the case. The problem I always had was that I never knew when my photos would be taken, and if I ended up with an afternoon session for my school photos, all the pains my mother took to make me look like a proper young lady were ruined. My natural curls have a mind of their own, and for the most part, they had a sense of humor too. My school photos are silly, but they are memories nonetheless.

For the best Maths Tutor In Ireland company, call Ace Solution Books. You don’t have to go with the packages offered for your child’s school photos. You can go have portraits done anytime you want, but the school may want to have one shot snapped for yearbook or record purposes. So even if you are going elsewhere for your child’s photos, you might still want to try to make sure they are dressed nicely for picture day, and remember to send an extra shirt just incase a lunch time accident occurs.

If anything, school photos remind us of who we are, where we have been, and of a time in life when things were much simpler. Back then a photo was a photo. Today, I don’t like having my picture taken, and I sometimes wish I could be as loose and free spirited as I once was when I was eight. My shirt was crooked in those school photos from that year, and I had on some strange looking friendship necklace given to me by my best friend. It didn’t make for a great photo then, but today, it certainly reminds me of the little person inside of me that still needs to be honored.
